Is it my imagination or does this look like it's had paint?
Discussion
Nearside front wing looks like it doesn't match. Looks a little bit darker (and maybe a little greener) to me. Evident in photos 4, 16, 26 & 28.

Car is Snapper Rocks Blue. Atlantis Blue is a tiny fraction darker and Long Beach Blue is noticeably darker. I'm almost thinking it's had paint, at the very least, and they've maybe used the wrong blue or just done a really bad job of matching it if they've used the correct colour!

Are the front wings plastic on these?
Not that I'm aware of and this is the only one I've seen where a wing looked off. Sometimes, on these cars in this colour, the rear bumper looks a little off at the side where it joins the rear quarter panel behind the rear wheel, but that might just be the way the light falls on the surface. To my eye the front wing looks fine on this side...
... but noticeably off on this side...
I almost feel like it's had paint and they've used Atlantis instead of Snapper Rocks by accident...
I bookmaked a YouTube video of this car last time it was for sale at a BMW main dealer. Looks like the wing is slightly darker than the door back then too, notably around 26 seconds.

The wings are metal on these.
I’m really fussy (weird) with some things and the front number plate is positioned too high - could have just had a private plate on at some point or could be a clue to some other work that’s been done. The only way to assess it is in person, in daylight.
I’m pretty sure the wheels have been powder coated too so are not original. Doesn’t matter to a lot of people but it would to me as I think they look a bit naff compared to how they left the factory.

No idea on paint but that is cracking value for money.
It's not bad but not amazing either. I've been watching these for three years while I got my ducks in a row financially. Lloyd Colne BMW had an Approved Used 69 plate with 44k miles for £20,990 in June last year.I had a 435i a few years ago and it was fantastic. If I had £20k to spend on a nice, quick, reliable car, I can't see where else I would go tbh.

Not sure how the front plate is attached but, yes, wrong height would irritate me too. It would have to be lowered a tad. I saw one recently with the screw caps on the rear plate at completely different heights, though the rear plate is attached to a plastic frame that's attached to the boot lid. I've seen cars with the screw caps on front plates near the top of the plate and cars with the screw caps about half way down.MarkJS said:

The wheels are legit. They're 704 style in Ferric Grey, one of a number of options on these. MitchT said:

The wheels are legit. They're 704 style in Ferric Grey, one of a number of options on these. It has been painted 'edge to edge'. On a difficult metallic like this you would always blend into the adjoining door so your eye cant see any difference, but that means the customer paying for the door to also be painted. Some customers take the cheaper option which means you have new paint lining up edge to edge with a newly painted panel making it more noticeable.
