Fitted Wardrobe Lighting
Discussion
Hi,
We are getting fitted wardrobes, with regular (non sliding doors).
We will have a top shelf and a rail below. In one of them it will be a double rail (high raio and low rail).
Lighting in the wardrobe would be great.
Any suggestions please?
I like the look of this, so the light isn't blinding you.

I am not so keen on the following as think it might be a bit blinding

Internal sensors are definitely the way to go so the lights only pop on when you open the doors. We went through a similar design phase for our master suite and used The Heritage Wardrobe Company for the build, they integrated recessed LEDs that stay hidden behind the frame.
It gives a nice glow to the clothes without hitting you in the face when you're half-asleep.

I've just ordered these sensors from AliExpress - not fully fitted yet but tested and worked great (i.e. any of the 4 sensors triggered the driver to turn on)

Waiting on this hanging rail to arrive, which will have 2 x 1m of LED strip run through it
