Hi all, we've left out a bit late as we had a few issues the last couple of weeks messing we weren't sure if we'd be able to go but, we're off to Lisbon for 3 nights on Saturday.
Can anyone recommend any nice restaurants (but not Michelin star type prices)?
We're staying in the Baixa district so ideally walkable in 20-30 mins mac but not fussed if we do need a taxi or tram.

Bon Jardin is worth a visit for cheap (but good) chicken. We went as the wife had been recommended the place, had to queue for a bit but worth it. A bit like a canteen but worth it! Watching the Japanese tourists trying to figure out what s going on is funny!

I really enjoyed: https://www.cervejariaramiro.com/

Amazing seafood. Not smart or cheap but great food.

The garlic prawns were great. I also enjoyed the barnacles

A Cevicheria is pretty good. They serve Pisco sours from a window which you can drink whilst waiting for a table. It's always busy but you can generally get a table if you put your name down and wait a while.

I'll probably get shot down for this one, but I like the Timeout Food Hall. It's perfect for Lunch and there are some nicer more relaxed places along a corridor on one side - I'm fairly sure they have their own seating.

We've always liked the look of Tapisco, which is just along the road from A Cevicheria, but we've never been organised enough to actually get a table so I can't specifically recommend it

Another fan here. We went on a Sunday a couple of years ago and had one of the best meals of our life (group of 12 blokes on a 50th). Course after course of ever bigger sea food (and the bread was awesome too!). Staff were super friendly.

Tapisco is excellent. We stayed at the Memmo opposite. We didn't have a reservation but put our names down and had a couple of drinks in a bar 20 metres away. Finally sat down to eat around 10PM which is not that unusual in Portugal, but it was worth the wait.
