hi All,

I'm just about to replace the fuel pump on the cerb and motoclan only have 1 copper washer for the pump when 2 is needed, dont suppose anyone knows where to get another one from ? or what exact size it is please ?? as motoclan said could be weeks before they get another order of them in

Try a local garage or two, they may have a "selection box" (or re-use one of the old ones) wink



To do a "proper job" you could anneal the old washers . . . . ..

Crush washers shouldn't be re-used but you can get away with using those cut from a flat sheet of copper again and again if needs must wink

yeah but my luck it wouldnt wok and it would be pi**ing fuel everywhere lol if nobosy knows where to get replacement washers mite just wait till motoclan get them back in stock

They are solid copper (or aluminium), 15 x 12 x 1 mm. You'll get some from an EBay seller for pennies within a couple of days.
But they are the same as the sump drain plug seal on some older VWs, so you may be able to pick some of those up from a motor factor.

You can anneal copper washers on a gas stove top when your wife isn’t in….. hehe
