I have a Panasonic TV which uses the Android TV (or google TV, whatever they call it at the moment) operating system - it's a dog of an OS in general, but one specific issue is particularly annoying.

I often watch things from a laptop connected via HDMI, but if I open an app with media on my phone at the same time, the phone's bluetooth connection takes over the TV audio without asking (leaving the HDMI video running with no audio), and then I can't get HDMI audio back until I unplug and replug the HDMI cable.

Has anyone else come across this issue and found a solution?

The only 'solution' I've found so far is remembering to turn my phone bluetooth off any time I'm watching something on that TV.
