Since a recent body lift chassis restoration a few problems arose the most difficult to identify being an inability to start when the engine was up to temperature. After weeks trying to locate the fault it was finally found but the cause was most unexpected:

In your case, it seems the car was cranking over OK when hot, but not starting? It's often the case that the car is dead when hot, pointing at immobiliser issues. Mine sometimes turns over slowly when hot, but does start, and I've wired in an additional start relay. rolleyes
