Anyone know where I can find a set of RS2 centre caps for the original Porsche Cup 1 wheels? NLA from Audi and seemingly sold out everywhere else. Can't even find a set of aftermarket ones.

Part number 8A0 601 171 B (Z17).

Thanks

Not specifically, but are you on, or have you asked on Classic Audi? The Facebook group can be very helpful for things like this.

Lots of members with garage shelves lined with old parts...

If you get totally stuck would a knock-off do in the short term?

Various sellers on Ali-Express advertise that their "copies" are all made in house, and you should contact them for other requirements. It may be that one of them is willing to produce a batch for you. I'm sure they won't be perfect but probably better than nothing whilst looking for an OE set.

I have spent some time looking over AliExpress and the like to no avail. I guess I could enquire but I don’t really want to buy a thousand laugh

There's a set of Used ones on German ebay at 40Euro each... if you can find a manufacturer for 1000 I'll buy a spare set from the batch! Just wait till you need lower door trims. In all seriousness, outside of Audi Tradition a group-buy custom manufacture is the only way to get NLA pattern parts now.

Had a look at those ones on ebay but they are pretty tatty. Don't fancy my chances of tidying up that chrome, especially considering my legendary hamfistedness.

The remanufacturing idea will go on the back burner for now, it's not a bad shout but I don't really have the time to manage another project right now.
