Help 993 C4S Tips

Advice please i am trying to remove my exhaust tips so that i can get them buffed up on a machine before i part company with £150 for new ones.
I have managed to undo the clamp (after alot of wd40) and the tips rotate freely ,the heat shield on the tip caught the rear bumper but i managed to rotate it round and clear of the body work.
But it will not come that last bit , do i need to undo the strap that holds the boxs or any other ideas please.
