Diff bearing carrier removal

I have tvr Tuscan rear differential I want to change the gearing in but I'm having trouble undoing the bearing carriers either side.
Anyone got any suggestions on how to undo them as I've made 2 tools and both won't budge them and the tools broke.
At one point we were using a 6ft bar and still couldn't budge them loose.
