Car finance scam, PCP Commissions

Many PH-ers will already be aware of this, but in case you're not:-
I had a call recently from someone claiming to be the "PCP Commissions", asking for personal information, so that they could check I was entitled to a refund.
When I asked them a few questions about them, it's obvious they were scammers.
Don't tell them anything! Don't click on a link in a text!
Just to be clear, the real PCP-Commissions is a proper company, and any claims should best be made direct through them.

Good advice but you don’t need to contact any company.
Devil still in the detail but sounds like it’s the FI that will make contact automatically, although ML’s website still suggests sending his templated email if you haven’t already.
The grey area of contact seems to be on loans going back as far as 2007 though and where no paperwork exists apparently.
