Front & Rear Brake Line possible replacements
Discussion
I have been given a price for the replacement of the front and rear brake lines on my 2008 AMV, as some are showing signs of corrosion. This equates to £750 including VAT, using non-AMV parts. The ones being proposed are HEL performance pipes. Does anyone have experience of fitting these on their car and what are their thoughts about it? This work although not essential at the moment, is on my list of preventative works.
Another picture uploaded of my car, which I purchased in January of this year.

You mean the braided lines to the calipers, or the whole brake line system including the hard lines?
Seems like a lot of money if it’s the former. HEL, Goodridge and other companies are great. All very similar. They’ll all make you a custom kit too, you just need the figment measurements at each end. A quick google will give you some out of the box comparisons though. For example HEL, direct here. For all four stainless braided lines to the caliper. It’s not a time consuming job, so I wouldn’t be expecting £500+ in labour.
