TVR Official Website
Discussion
Tried to log onto the TVR.co.uk website today, it now needs Macromedia flash 6 to run and takes an absolute age to load. Content is then shown in a new small window and is not very nice to look at.
I feel this is a BIG MISTAKE and will lose potential customers. IMHO a website should be fast to load and relatively simple.
Lets make our views known here and perhaps if we feel a change is necessary the factory might do something.

Cheers, I missed that one!
Alan, the branded stuff is not sold by TVR, it's TVR Personal Possesions. You should notice it's just a link to their web-pages from the TVR web site. Anyway the best bet is to call them directly. to check what's happened to your order. Rich...

this problem was existant on the old website and i tried emailing them, not very helpful as i never got a reply.
I went to seen Ben S about the web site a few months ago, as I did the original site for Dial Internet some years ago. I have my own company now which produces site for the like of Thomas Cook and had alot of success in the motor industry. Ben wasn't in the slightest bit interested in the web, when talking to me, and said there wasn't even a budget for marketing.
I said to Ben that I have friends who own Porschers that take the mick out of the site and my TVR as a result. Compare the TVR site to Porsche, Ferrari, Aston Martin or even Caterham. The site even needs to download a Flash 6 player, it should as been produced in v4 or v5 as this is installed on nearly all browsers.
TVR what have you done?
