Stage 2 Clutch

Dear All,

I have just bought a 2006 HSV Maloo (LS2). Loving it so far.

It is fitted with a LS7 Stage 2 clutch with a short shifter. Previous owner was going to can and maybe supercharge it.

The Stage 2 is a bugger in our roads. I do not intend to significantly upgrade the engine so the LS2 will remain 400-450 bhp. I have my other cars like the Hellcat for the power.

As a LS7 is 550 bhp what would people recommend. Go with a LS7 standard or a LS7 stage 1 clutch.

I want to make it more road drivable and not likely to build or track it.

Why has someone fitted a pointless clutch to it? Seems very odd.

Anyway, if you've got something OEM off the shelf which can easily handle the power I'd fit that (i.e. LS7 standard)
