From 991.2 GTS to 991.1 C4S

Recently sold my .2 GTS due to the inconvenience of the centre lock wheels and the concern of turbo failure. I know I probably overacted but it just got to me. Those things aside, it was a great car.
Test drove a vey nice .1 C4S today and fell in love. I never realised the difference in engine character was so pronounced. Ride quality seemed much better too. Can’t wait to pick the car up and enjoy the new venture.

I have a 991.1 C4S - I bought it last year with 25,000 on the clock.  It's my first Porsche so I can't really compare it with any others.
I took it to the south of France in the summer, it's the perfect GT car, very comfortable (and economical!) on the cruise and it swallows luggage.
The engine has two very distinct characters, one is normal and civilised, the other is a bit mental. I did an 80 mile trip in it yesterday - great fun despite the rain. Mine is a PDK version and I really like it, the best gearbox in any car I've had, it's always in the right gear - particularly in sport mode which I usually have on.
It's not the fastest car I've owned, if it's not pushed it's quite normal - but, it's a lovely car and the engine seems perfect to me.

Is it just the hassle if you get a puncture the problem with centre-locks? Can you convert a centrelock GTS to a 5-bolt wheel easily enough?
Reason I am asking as my current wish list toy in a few years is a 991.1 GTS, don't want turbos even though it is faster and the GTS seems the best compromise of everything that I want.

The CLs are only a pain to start with, once you've done it a couple of times it's quick and easy but I fully agree they're completely pointless on a road car and overkill.  
I've recently taken my rears off to get new tyres, and it's not really any more difficult than 5 stud wheels.
I am however worried about my Euro trip, which 2.2K miles through, France, Germany and Spain. last year, on a similar trip, I got a bit of tyre damage whilst heading to Andorra and had to have it repaired with a mushroom. For my 2026 I'll take a torque converter, 60cm torque wrench and a decent breaker bar. A couple of mates in the group have CLs so we'll split the batch of tools between us.
