Hi all,

I recently replaced my CCC unit. Getting a weird issue now where zero air comes out from the vents. The climate control turns on fine and I can hear the blower motor. All appears well, apart from the lack of air from the vents. I have double checked everything is connected to the climate control panel and it looks fine. I’ve played around with the different settings etc and nothing.

I’m at a loss right now. Any thoughts?

I had a similar problem when I refitted the heater control panel after installing an MMI. It turned out to be the connector closest to the steering wheel - I had noticed that it didn't slide in and lock as easily as the other one and it clearly wasn't connecting properly. Initially I took the locking connector off (it just unclips) and put the plug in carefully on its own - it worked fine, so if you're noticing any resistance when putting that one in, I'd try it without the locking cover as a test. Once I knew where the problem was, I put the locking cover back on the connector and very carefully plugged it in by wiggling it so that it went in without resistance - it's hard to describe, but you can feel when it's right.

Cheers Martin, your suggestion worked! The connector you mentioned wasn’t seated properly. When I got it right, it was noticeably more snug. You’d think the locking mechanism would ensure you couldn’t get it wrong. Last night I found a few other posts with this exact issue, so seems it’s caught a few of us out. Thanks again.
