My insurance is now due for renewal, 991.2 GT3, currently with classic line, no complaints. This would be the first renewal.

Last year I tried Flux - 5x price Vs classic line and Locktons, which I liked service wise (At least at quote stage) but they were 40% more than Classicline.

I know some of the track cover has changed with CL, so just need to look at that, but overall, is there anyone else I should be talking to, to get alternative quotes in the experience of anyone on here ? I have agreed value, which is important to me and was an easy process at CL.

I would tread carefully with flux. We had a dreadful experience. As soon as we had to unfortunately claim they showed their true colours.

Cheap is never best with insurance companies.

OP, search for the insurance thread on this sub forum which contains a lot of information

I think some use Aviva Private Clients or Porsche Insurance (Chubb). Agreed Value policies somewhat limit who you can approach, mostly requiring brokers.

The main bits to look for are whether there are any requirement around tracker or garaging

What is the issue ? Insurance is a contract. They are not going bust.

thanks all for info so far. FYI, I popped the details into my Admiral multicar policy and they wanted £180, for c.80 days up to the policy renewal, so if I scale that up it's circa £850, which given there's no agreed value and no track day cover, isn't worth the saving.

I'll try a few others, main thing that's a bit of a pain with the current policy is needing a tracker, I find it hard to believe it makes any difference on these, but maybe the stats say otherwise. It adds about £220 per year (porsche vodafone tracker)
