I have a Seiko Kinetic 5M63-0A80 that has been my daily wear since around 2001/02 and been brilliant. But recently the bracelet has been coming apart at the top link.

You can just about see it in this image (off an auction site), the link with the writing on it, essentially the bracelet detaches when it curves too much.

As it doesn't have traditional pins I can't put it on a NATO or similar and I would like to keep it original. It has a lot of sentimental value, so I don't mind paying for someone to fix it, but I don't just want to ship it off to a local place.

Any ideas or recommendations?

It seems to have pins of some description. Can you remove the bracelet and squeeze that top link back into shape?

Hmmm... good idea. I will see if I can get them out, looking into the case I can't see the pins but have some tools so will give it a go.
