Gallardo Track Day Db

Hi guys, any track day users on here with the Gallardo, am I going to struggle with noise limits at all tracks or just the quieter ones like Bedford for example.

I would suspect you will struggle but the only way is to either go to a track when they have an event and ask the sound guys to give you a level check or buy a meter.

Depending upon the track they will probably have both static test and drive buy out on track. These are the ones that catch people out as when on full chat it gets the noise from induction as well as exhaust.

You are better to get this sorted before hand as they usually do not give refunds if it is failed. There are tracks that do noisy days but most are under 110 DB .

It wouldn't be the first time (previous car) that noise has been an issue hence the question . As you say its not the static that concerns me, its drive by limits as you can't find out until you are on track and then its too late.

Doesn't seem like many owners do track days, which seems a shame.
