I know I've seen reccomendations for sites on here, that sell Motherboards, RAM, Processors etc and that will tell you what goes with what but despite searching back 10 pages i can't find it.

Can someone give me a link please, I want to upgrade an unused PC that has a great case and PSU but is well out of date.

Thanks

Thanks, it's so long since i built up a PC, when I buy a new copy of Windows 11 with the components do they provide it on a USB drive already configured to be bootable?

You will need to download win 11, then put it on a USB. Make the USB bookable on the motherboard through the bios and away you go.

May as well ask here . . .

What’s the most legit way to buy a Win 11 licence at the lowest price?

I’m always wary of the YouTubers promoting their sponsor’s cheap Windows offers.

Usually you just get an activation code. You can happily use windows indefinitely without actually activating it, but some features are missing.

Groupon often has Windows 11 for around £5.
