Confused.com is very good, but it works best if you and your car are fairly standard, any oddities like LHD and you get loads of "Not able to quotes". But for a standard car its well worth a try.

Privilege.com: 1999 996 C2, 34Yrs old, 4NCB, 0 Points, Fault Claim 2004, No tracker required, 10k miles p.a. : £880.

Swiftcover.com were about £20 cheaper, but required Tracker.

No way you can take bonus from another car and put it on the Porker, assuming this is going to be the highest risk car?

Have you tried Norwich Union Direct?

i was coming on to ask this question too...

my best quote so far is £1850!!
from adrian flux, but then it appears to be the engine upgrade thats doing it.

28, 9yrs NCB, 12000 miles, sp60 over 3 years ago, driveway, sleepy surrey, 320bhp factory upgrade, GT3 aerokit, sports chassis lowered 10mm, sports exhaust.

any other suggestions (i'll try the above)?

Try A plan - they are a PH paying advertiser and they are pretty good.

Try Lancaster - Get it on a classic policy

01480 484848

My 944 S2 is insured with them - '92, 12k miles a year, 26 yrs old, 2yrs NCB, fully comp £450. Oh and i've got 7 points. To be classic it only has to be 10 years old!!

The best thing about them is that most of the lads there know cars!

3.2 Carrera Coupe - 5000 pa - 33Years old - No claims irrelevant policy (ie you neither count nor gain any with the policy). Carole Nash £411 renewal just through (but have to let them know re PCGB membership which will hopefully knock £50-60 off).

Good luck
Dom
