Hi there,

This has taken a lot of work as I visited Salon Prive at Blenheim Palace for two days this year as wanted to see the main concours event, but also headed back for the Bugatti Veyron 20th Birthday Celebration they were hosting on the Friday.

The Friday event is quite different to the Wednesday/Thursday as all the Concours cars are removed on the Thursday evening and replaced with different cars (mainly super/hypercars) as the event becomes more focussed towards the weekend which sees lots of owners clubs and groups assemble on the main areas to the front of the palace.

There are 6 galleries now live on my site for you to peruse.

1) The Green Collection - each year the organisers assemble a different 'colour' collection. This year is was green, and what a fabulous display it was.

2) Bugatti Veyron Birthday Celebration - slightly disappointed that the promised 20 cars did not assemble, however 11 was a great sight including two very rare cars.

3) Concours Classes A-F - some beautiful cars on show this year as always this gallery includes the best of show winner (1936 Mercedes Benz 500k)

4) Concours Classes G-L - check out the 1956 Ferrari 410 Superfast in this class what a piece of design / art this is.

5) Rest of the Event - Part 1 - the addition of the Automotive Gallery and some of the exhibitors it housed brought a new element to this event

6) Rest of the Event - Part 2 - definitely something for everyone in this gallery

Please do take some time to look over these, there is so much to see.

Relax, make a brew and enjoy. I hope you like the pics, I have enjoyed putting the galleries together.

Next event to come is pics from the Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court.

Regards

Tim
