Couldn’t see anything about this on the homepage, new Renault Twingo has been revealed:

Apparently going to be priced from £17k, Renault on a bit of a roll at the moment!

Brilliant, I'll take mine in yellow.

Now they've finally revived the original Twingo shape I just hope they got around to engineering it for RHD. With an electric car that should be very straightforward, unlike the original where the engine was in the way of moving the controls.

Looks pretty much spot on. Not wholly convinced the 4 is anything special but this and the 5 seem big winners.

I see it's a 5-door so hope it's not the size of a Transit van or Mini Countryman.

Bit cheeky asking for £100 up front to have the chance to buy one!

Far too heavy
Far too short range
Far too unsafe
Far too slow

Just thought I’d get in there first!

I really like it but it looks identical to the original which is not necessarily a bad thing.

I'm in love with the new Renault 5, but I struggle to understand what this really brings to differentiate it from that. Were this a 3 door then maybe, but it's not.

Perhaps the cost of multiple bodyshells on the same skateboard is low enough that the 4, 5, and Twingo combination can all compete with each other with little financial consequence?

3.79m according to social media. Right about halfway between a VW Up and a Polo.

Maybe Vertu need to get themselves more Renault franchises!

50% EV sales in October, they’re clearly doing something right to stand a chance of doing well in the transition!

I was going to say it can't be too big as the rear seats only take 2 people.

Based on the pics the rear seats look to be sliding. If so, fantastic news.

The 5 doesn’t have space for rear facing child seats, which makes it somewhat useless for young families.

Looks like the rear windows don't roll down but pop slightly open instead, hate that. Will it be RWD like the out going model? Needs an RS version too.

How would they gauge (real) interest in the thing if people could just click on a button to say they want one?

Usually only seen in 2 door cars? I thought it was crap when we had an BMW E46 3-series coupe, but was better than the car that replaced it (E92 3-series coupe) where the rear windows were fixed.
