Poor guys passed away and at no aged nowadays after a battle with lung cancer.
Always quite liked him on the telly tbh.

That is a shame I liked him and he still used to pop up a lot on radio shows about motoring stuff frown

That is very sad. He did a talk once at an awards ceremony I went to and was very entertaining.

RIP Count Quentula.

Sad news. Always thought he was a good foil to Clarkson and Needell back in the day.

Sad to hear - loved watching Top Gear growing up in the 90's, and reading his features on car buying in the mag.

Sorry to hear that. He always seemed to have his head screwed on about car buying and passed on his wisdom to the punters.

68, no age at all, gutting, one of the greats from when broadcasting was simple. You knew exactly where you were with him...

Oh, and two L's in Willson.

That is sad news.

I liked his presentation style and his common sense approach.

My favourite video for some strange reason of his Top Gear days.

Sad news, I met him several times over the years at various car launches and motoring events. He was always polite, good humoured and willing to pass the time of day.

He did a lot more for UK motoring than many realise.

Sad to hear he's gone.
