Jersey,

I had a C4S for a few months and it was fabulous!!
I have not driven any 993's cant comment on them but the new car is brilliant in almost everyway apart from the cup holders.

difficult one....I went from a Clubsport 3.2 not too far from an RS in terms of comfort and fittings into an 02 C2.....I really wanted your car(993 RS),but thought I would be sensible and get the 2 extra mini seats etc...
I tried the 4S,it is a good car, personally I do not get on with 4wd 911...I am sure you can find many posts on here in previous threads comparing the two cars. You really have to try it to see.The latest 996 package is a fantastic allround car.You will get the experts on here talking it down, but I don't think they have lived with one for a period of time.
I would try 2 & 4wd 996,,after a 993RS I think you may prefer the 2 as it talks more of the language you are used to where as the extra weight & 4wd dulls the C4S for me at least.....Nice decision to be making either way!

Depends totally on what you're after from the car - they're very very different beasts!

Personally there's no choice, I'd give the RS to me and buy the C4

I can only second Scottster, they are such different cars you cannot compare. I love the 993RS it is absolutly fantastic car and although the 996 is a refined GT, no way would I consider trading the RS in for a 996C4 unless I had a gun to my head. A 996GT3 however is a different proposition & in LHD form £50-somethingK will bag you a minter.

I'd sell your 993 RS. Let me know how much you want for it.

Wow, what a decision!

Okay, i'm biased because i drive a 993 C4S but this is what i'd do...

You already have a 993RS which would be great to keep low on the mileage, but if you want a comfy car for more regular use just buy a 993TT to park next to the RS! Weekday car, weekend car.

Just my 2 pence worth.

Believe me, if I had the cash for the TT and C4S and the RS, I would keep them all!

Try H&S automobiles in Germany, Thomas is expensive but he will find you a GT3 and px the 993RS.

I'm with Iguana, you would have to have a 12 bore to my head to change my 993RSR for anything other than a GT3CS.

JerseyRS,

In case you aren't already familiar with H&S, they are at www.911-rs.de

Good luck!

DON'T DO IT!! I've just had a week with a GT3 -s'OK, had some fun; spent last two days with a RHD 993RS, oh wow, woopy doo-dah -knocks the GT3 into a cocked hat for a total driving experience. Felt FAR more confident in the RS than the GT3, and in this crap weather...........

What kind of price are you looking for? I may be interested in the car, so get in touch if you decide to sell.
