I am likely to pull the trigger on that one. £279pm for a 97kWh car thanks to the £3500 EV subsidy. I expect it to be mildly popular.

Anyone has tried one or is considering one? I will be leaving my Nissan Ariya for something a bit more modern I hope (but without the Pano roof)

I test drove the standard range at the weekend, generally quite impressed, especially the comfort of the seats. but for me the suspension was a bit too loose

Thanks for your feedback. The model currently on offer has a bigger battery, which implies a heavier weight. Which I hope may help to stabilize the suspension.

I'm going to go for this deal to replace my Eny1 on an 8k deal at £305 a month.

The only issue is the May/June delivery time. I'll have to use the C63 as my daily!

Just watched a couple of YT videos. It looks like the pano roof is optional and so is the sunglass holder. I had both on the Ariya so will dearly miss that.

The car still uses a proprietary OS rather than the ubiquitous Android and there's "only" six speakers.

The stereo sounded decent, acceptable to me - but not as good as the system in my current Peugeot. I didn't have time to play around with all the settings though so maybe some potential for improvement

One thing to bear in mind as well.
All the videos show the Max with a 97KWh battery and the pano roof.
The pano roof is optional from what I understand.
None of the videos that I've viewed mention that.
So be ready for some disappointment if your ec5a doesn't come with one.

The panoramic roof takes it over the Grant threshold. I can live without it. Still a bargain for a large SUV.

My car is now due on the 8th February but I've told them the earliest I want it is the end of March or beginning of April, which was accepted. Stoneacre also mentioned that the 8th Feb is still an estimate and may change.

Just learnt that the car won't do V2L, which is a real shame.
Also slightly disappointing is EV-database real range estimate of 300 miles from a 97Kwh battery.

EV database values are quite pessimistic. I get 280 miles out of my Grandland (same thing really) with the smaller (but lighter, I guess) 73kWh battery on a mix of roads.

V2L - which allows you to charge a second EV for e.g. - will be available at launch. Whether that means my April batch will have it remains to be seen.

The 300 mile range is pessimistic. It's a heavy car but I'd expect more than 3.1 m/kwh with everyday driving especially as the car has a heat pump.
