IONIQ 5N Roof Rack - Vision Roof or No Vision Roof

I am imminently going to be placing an order for a 5N - first electric car, just makes a lot of sense for many reasons through my Ltd and its the only EV that has me "excited".

I was keen on the vision roof but options to get one quickly are limited
Additionally I was toying with getting a roof rack fitted

so my question, does anyone know whether getting the Vision Roof precludes the fitting of a roof rack? I cant find a definitive answer and Hyundai don't supply racks so would have to be aftermarket so they cant confirm on that either

I am looking into it with Thule and others as well but wanted to post in here in case anyone has experience

The panoramic roof still has the normal cant rails at the sides, which is where a roofrack will rest.



I'd be surprised if it was an issue tbh, can't see why it would be. I've just ordered roof rails for my Polestar 2, which has a pan roof as most of them do, don't anticipate a problem.

I am however looking for some rubber-covered ratchet straps to tie down my canoe, as I don't want to risk dropping a steel clasp on a glass roof!

cars withour roof in the colour I want (ecotronic grey metallic) available this year
vision roof is next may
OR I go white with vision roof right now - I do think it looks good but might get a bit bored of how in your face it is in white and my wife isNOT a fan hahaha
