Purchase advice

I've been looking for an Evora gt sport 410 but not had much look so have widened the search to Emira.
There is almost too much info online and its hard to find the good news bits.
I have seen a car I like the look of qt an actual lotus dealer, its a 23 plate with under 8k on it, obviously some sort of buy back.
A quick chat to the dealer confirms it had door paint issues and tailgate paint issues too but all have already been replaced, its also had the front wiring recall for water ingress.
What I would like to know, is there anything else I should be checking or asking about, am I crazy buying one with so a lot of uncertainty and minimal warranty and if I do go ahead what qt these actually dealing at price wise as there are quite a few for sale so I imagine some sort of deal can be done? Its a manual V6.
The other question is am I better off to just wait for an Evora?
Any advice welcome, thanks

I would also consider posting your question on the Emira forum, there seems to be more UK owners on there than here

If it is approved used it will come with a years warranty and you can buy another 2. (That's official Lotus warranty BTW)And 2023 with 8K on it is comparatively fairly well used. Not sure why you'd assume it was bought back, there are several with <1000 mile son them, they are the ones I'd be cautious about. With 8k on it you'd expect the niggles to have been sorted and if the doors have been done......
Manual V6 probably around £60K. Auto a few K more from franchise dealer.

I reckon you should be able to get a good deal on a used Emira at the moment. I can't believe the dealerships have any customers at all at this time of year, especially with Rachel Reeves hanging over everybody's head.
Snap one up. They don't build any slow ones. I'd avoid "controversial" colours either interior or exterior due to eventual re-sale prospects, and it would have to be a manual transmission.
Emira is a real car. Exige V6 is "fast" to the exclusion of all else; a one trick pony.

An exige is a completely different kettle of fish if you want raw stripped out thrills then yes but if you want modern tech, comfort then the exigeemira wins hands down.I have a Noble and that's a pretty much rd going track car but the exige is even more stripped out than that
Stripped out thrills addict here, I've got an Exige and a Noble. Agree, the Exige is even more full-on especially with the roof off. Panamax said:

Exige is fast, agreed, certainly the 410 version.
But to that I'd add handling, noise, and sheer driver experience. Its not a daily. I haven't driven an Emira but it does seem to be a daily option. It also looks fantastic on the road. Gassing Station | Emira | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
