Suit covers

I have a couple of suits that I wear only occasionally and would like to store these in the garage to save room in the wardrobe but am struggling to find suitable covers for these.

I understand plastic covers aren't the best as it doesn't let the material breath so would like cotton/linen ones. I would also like covers that completely enclose the suit and aren't open at the bottom to stop moths getting in.

Can anyone recommend any?

I wouldn't keep them in the garage, they might get damp and go mouldy.

Thanks for your response and whilst this is a good point the garage is attached to the house and therefore doesn't get too cold or damp. But thanks for your input.

Go to Next and get some of those suit covers they give free you when you buy a suit.
They are pretty robust.

I think they are a few quid if you want to buy them standalone.

What’s wrong with plastic covers? They’re good for keeping the moths away.

We lived for a year in a rented holiday cottage, stored a suit in a plastic suit case thing, hung in what turned out to be a damp bedroom.
Scrapped it.

When I have purchased suits from Charles Tyrwhitt they always came with a suit bag/carrier. If you have a branch handy you could pop in and see if they have any spare.

If not they are very similar to these. Breathable and they only have a small hole in the top for the hanger to poke out.
