After Lando’s outstanding weekend in Brazil we’re in Las Vegas, the start of three weekends which will decide the WDC. This is a fast, unforgiving street circuit where tyre temperature are a challenge due to the evening temperatures and smooth tarmac- there’s always some excitement.

Oscar will know this is a weekend where he must deliver or realistically the championship is gone. He seems to struggle in cooler temps and Las Vegas may not suit him. Mercedes on the other hand generates tyre temps for fun and the car loves colder, smoother tracks. They scored a 1-2 last year and should be a good bet again.

George therefore is my tip for the win, he’ll be keen beat Antonelli after last weekend and remind the team (Toto) who’s top dog. Lando will beat Oscar comfortably I think. Ferrari will be nowhere.

Here’s to a great race.

Date(s): Friday 21 to Sunday 23 November 2025.

Thanks PiaP smile

After the L1 off-roading last time, the street race barriers should prevent leaving the track and gaining an advantage. Expect Stroll to attempt it though.

Ferrari still need to sort themselves out, so maybe it will be a race between McLaren and MB. Think George will win with Oscar having an (overdue) better weekend. Best thing for fans will be the WDC open until AD.

I've gone for Norris, would be good if Oscar could get some points back though.

The weirdest race of the year. On at a time most of the world is in bed. Presenters and race teams and drivers freezing to death but pretending its the best place they have ever been.
Will Lando keep up his advantage? Will trump attack venezuela after this final US leg of the F1 season?
So many questions
I look forward to replays when I get up as normal in the normal world.

They’ve moved the race forward two hours this year, from 22:00 to 20:00 Saturday local time, to placate the live audience and the US East Coast. Terrible for UK and Europe though, and bad enough for me at 8am having being to a gig on Saturday night.

It’s raining there this weekend, and there is apparently potential for it to be wet on Thursday and Friday.

Something to watch on a non race weekend. Not come across this YouTube channel before, i feel a binge of videos coming on.

Particularly if you re a Ferrari fan, this is absolutely wonderful (I do miss the Schumacher years!). Great access and insight.

Even just as an F1 fan, some of the detail will be very interesting. And a nice presenting style.

Freezing to death? It's 8pm local time, forecast to be 10c but will be more like 12-14c on the streets because the city generates a lot of heat. I don't expect any temperature related fatalities...

Although you are almost twice as likely to die in Vegas than elsewhere in the States - for endless reasons that are mostly more fun, or at least more interesting, than being cold.

I quite like quali and GP here, I might set the alarm to wake up and watch in bed smile

Lando has said that mentally he is a good place now...& the past 'episodes' have helped make him a better driver.

I would love to see Oscar take the fight to him...but fear that HIS wobble will continue.
MV... to clinch second in the WDC.

NB: The Rookie battle between Hadjar, Bearman & Lawson looks as though it could go down to the wire.
Setting themselves up for a good future.

IH: RBR
OB: Ferrari.

I’m thinking Max, the track temperatures will be so low there is no advantage to McLaren. But then that is also an advantage to Mercedes, but I only have one vote.

I just wish the timings were a little more favourable to CET, so I guess it’s Ketchup time.

Oscar to collide with Max, Norris to have a shocking pit stop and George to take the win.

Ferrari to implode, obviously.

IF Landro has a pointless / DNF, Oscar mustn't damage his car & finish on the podium.
(Then its game on...using the final sprint race points in reserve)
As Mr Webber would say... "Not bad for a number two".

Of course, anything can happen, but LV seems similar to Baku, only colder. Neither suits McLaren.

I think McLaren may finish off the podium,, but in the points with Mercedes winning.
