Attractive people in restaurant windows?
Discussion
No, if the place is empty they’ll stick anyone in the window to make the place look attractive, even if your plug ugly.
Bonus ball for me once , working in Oxford, got put in a window seat in an Indian restaurant because the place was empty, I found £50 cash in the plant/flower box, someone pissed up must have pushed or brushed in there the night before!

Is it true that restaurants prefer to put their more attractive customers in the windows to lure other people in?
(Happened to us tonight, feeling maybe a little bit objectified. )
Was you lured in, given a window seat... or both. (Happened to us tonight, feeling maybe a little bit objectified. )

I wouldn't mind...as long as they provided an attractive girl to keep me company.

It is obvious, bod you think about it (which I have over the years), restaurants:
Put a few people, probably just a couple, in the front window (to make the restaurant seem desirable)
Leave adjacent window seats empty (so as to not look too full)
Then fill up from the back, leaving that dangling carrot of the window seat last.
It won't necessarily be the most attractive people there, just the least offensive.
I assume those 'reserved' places are not all truly reserved.

d. I get put in the window seat as I'm usually shoveling the food down my gullet like I've never had a meal in my life. Does wonders for business, apparently.
I don't think fast food chains qualify as restaurants... 'Spoons' might scrape in though.

Usually people who want the window seat book it when they book the table.
If you’d did not need to book the table 3 months before dining the restaurant give the table based on number of diners and when tables are free, if you did not need to book 6 months in advance no one cares if you sat in the window or by the bins.
