I have read that there is an adjusting screw for the door glass height about half an inch below the top of the door on the interior side of the glass and about halfway between the 'quarterlight' post and the back edge of the door.

Coud you kindly inform me if I have to remove the carpeted panel in order to access to this screw.

I'm assuming this is the same on a Chimaera as the Griffith. If so, then no you don't. There are a few images on my site showing where this screw is BTW (look via profile).

Good tip on your site, Trefor. Couldn't keep a straight face, though:



"** Warning ** Be careful not to turn the screw too much in case something drop/falls off!"



I enisaged the entire door falling off and leaving one holding the glass...

(It's been a tough week!!)

You will have to wind the window down to access it though.
