Quick question regarding PILON.
I understand that Pension payment as part of PILON is not the norm.
I believe that its not unreasonable to request this.
It isn't a huge payment for the employer. (50% will be paid by deduction from PILON to cover employee percentage).
Is it unreasonable to request this?

Completely reasonable request, alongside other benefits.

If you worked your notice, you would receive all standard benefits.

If you are eligible for a bonus, also worth asking for that to be included too.

Speak to an Employment Lawyer if the package is anything less than minimal and you get push back.

Check what your contract of employment says, some will confirm that benefits are not included. That being said, it does not mean you can't ask for it......
