I've ordered one of these on my salary sacrifice scheme because it was priced exceptionally well compared to the usual cars I get my hands on......
I know its probably not the done thing but I haven't sat in one (read lots of reviews, watched Youtube etc etc).
When I visited Mercedes they didn't have any available to look at (been 3 times) and the lease price was that good I decided using the PH adage go for deal not the car.....
That said does anyone run one have experience of them and could you give me an owners view?

I was in one yesterday to travel across London - it was uber!
Very comfortable and some nice touches inside. The front dash was weird in shape but had a ll the toys you would expect. The ride was typical Merc for the E class level cars, very good. Very quiet too.
You're saving a lump of tax and your new car is practical, comfortable and has 450hp so I expect you'll struggle to not find it 'acceptable' at the very least.
Assuming 'prem+' in the title means premium plus spec, I think you get the air suspension too.
You're stuck with it now anyway, so you tell us what it's like when it turns up

Thanks for this, I stumbled across the EQE hidden amongst lower model Audi, BMW's in our salary sacrifice scheme spreadsheet, it retails at 40k more expensive than the cars around it for the same monthly fee as the lower models.Very comfortable and some nice touches inside. Its 1 model below the 600hp AMG model and has many bells and whistles including full Hyperscreen instrument panel, air suspension, 4 wheel steer, dynamic lights etc etc.
It reads like its quite a vehicle just wondering if anyone had any practical experience of it!
I am sure that it will be more than acceptable for me a simple northern chap!

Interesting that you say, priced exceptionally well.
The list price before options is about £90,000.
They have hardly been 'flying out of the showrooms', so perhaps that might be the reason for now being, priced exceptionally well.
I bought an almost new, 4,000 mile E200 for one third of the EQE list price.
If your new car is as comfortable and drives as well as mine (although it is 25% heavier), then I am sure you should be extremely pleased.
You will have exclusivity as well, because it is rare to see an EQE. I have seen several in showrooms, but only ever one on the roads.

Sorry to re life the thread but car lands in 2 weeks and I am starting to get a little excited...........It's being delivered to my house by truck so I'm not sure what handover is going to be like.
Its got quite a bit of tech on it so I'm hoping I get basic instruction prior to driver departing.
Question is there anything I need to have ready to put into the car on receipt.
It will come with mats, I'm thinking I need a USB stick for the camera is there anything else?

It landed on Wednesday. early days yet but I think we are going to get on......its a lovely place to sit.
It was delivered to my house (driven) and my Genesis taken away. IDigital content not quite setup properly yet so going to take it to a dealer for assistance.
Air suspension is lovely as is the 4 wheel steering. Hyperscreen and audio top class. Quick car but doesn't feel like it should be pushed.
Its got 2 Tvs and its own WiFi and its eerily quiet when making progress. Seats are very comfortabl, rear view poor.
Matt finish really quite nice, wasn't sure when I ordered it.
Given I hadn't been in one when I ordered and the risk I might not like, I am actually delighted.
Is there anything specific you want to know?

Appreciate it’s not a fair comparison, but I am currently in a Taycan GTS and concerned the change in driving experience will be too large even though the EQE is a luxury and comfort focused car unlike my Porsche.
I guess you went for the black interior? It’s a shame the grey interior option is so light - almost white in fact - (or the steering wheel isn’t black with the light interior) which is why it seems very rare in the UK at least.
Other options I am considering are the Hyundai Ioniq 5N, i4, Macan and even the Alpine A290!

Yes went for dark interior, The light ones look nice but I don't think I could keep them looking nice....The lights are like nothing I have seen before and really are special.Like yourself, it has only caught my eye due to an attractive salary sacrifice cost. Its a quick car, but it feels like it should be driven quickly, very much a magic carpet type ride.
Hyperscreen is the best thing I have seen on the interior of a car however I do think EQE is very different to the other cars on your list so do try one first......
