Tyres for a 991
Discussion
Get the N rated ones if you go PS4S, steering is meant to be much nicer than the standard tyre, which is really wooly.
The Conti Sport Contact 7s are meant to be very good, comfy. quiet and steering is superb.
The Goodyear Eagle F1 is meant to be a bit comfier steering somewhere inbetween and quieter, especially the rears.

I will be needing some new tyres for my 991 soon. Currently have P Zeros which seem quite noisy. I'm not interested in a track day tyre - but good wet grip, a decent (quiet) ride and progressive handling are top of my list. Recommendations please!
I fitted 4 new tyres to my C4S this year... the ones that came off were hardly worn, but were 5 years old and Porsche Reading recommended changing them whilst they had it in. They also strongly recommended the original fitment Pirellis - so I did that. But...... there is no affection for Pirellis for 911's - anywhere! It's the Michelin that everybody recommends. Most people will say that Pirelli are only fitted because of special deals being made etc. I have no idea.
Sorry, this post is not helpful really - other than saying most 911 owners (by and large) will want Michelin.
PS4S is the go to choice and while I am not a fan of them in the wet, they are the best all round summer/dry weather tyre. I have told myself time and again the I will try the Continentals but when it comes to it I just can’t make the move. Make sure to get the N rated tyre, there is a difference despite what others may say.
