Mercedes Apps not available

Just had the latest automatic software update in my Mercedes E Class. It s probably similar to other models with the latest generation infotainment, so may have some crossover.

Apart from the annoyance of all my settings disappearing, almost back to factory, a few apps have disappeared and I cannot get them to download.

Audials (internet radio) had disappeared and will not re-download, other streaming apps (Spotify, Amazon music, Tidal ) also will not download. The download button just clicks, but nothing. I downloaded another stupid game app just to check, and that was ok.

YouTube is still there and plays videos / music etc, so no issue with signal / bandwidth. My MercedesMe account is logged in, and the app is working. Just some quite key streaming apps.

Anyone had this recently or in the past. I really like Audials and it was a native app within the infotainment, so want to get it back.

Today? If so might have something to do with the Cloudflare outage that went on for about six hours today.

I took out an insurance policy on a couple of land rovers today and couldn't pay because their systems were down.

I did think that, but there s murmurings on FB that the new update has removed certain free integrated streaming apps and they are being redirected through a payment gateway.

Frustrating if it is that, as they were free yesterday and not today.

What I dont understand is that Audials has a free account which is what I was using, not happy if you have to pay Mercedes to have a free account.

I guess all you can do is try again tomorrow.

Hopefully someone who knows will come along because I don't know anything about that so can't help.

The only Mercedes I ever owned was a Sprinter.
