Morning All

Does anyone here still use a windows phone? Found one this morning in the drawer at home and was wondering if it could serve a purpose, even as a simple music player??

Thanks all in advance

I have quite a few that still work. And one that is still in use

On my 950XL I have Garmin Navigon which I use for a head-up display (speedo mainly) in my Excel. Was really useful when my speedo went u/s for a few months. The maps haven't been updated so fairly useless for SatNav (although it always was always fairly hopeless). Garmin pulled the app from the Google App Store a fair while ago, and the apk won't install on an up to date Android phone. (I bought the cheapest Android phone I could find to use it before I discovered there was a Windows Phone App - and extracted the apx from that.)

The battery is crap, and I've replaced it with an original - which is still crap. So it needs to be plugged in to a power bank.

Photos are still good quality.

No sim card in it.

We still use a 920 as a music player for my lad to get to sleep each night.....

It is definitely on the clunky side now and I haven't explored if anything else works.

I do miss the Windows Operating System but suspect I am now fully an Android convert.....

Yes, I have several, and most still "work".
But there's a bug with most of them now, the thing they won't do is make a phone call. It rings and drops immediately.

Also, Outlook no longer works.

But then I also still have my Orange Nokia from 1995, anyone remember them? It still worked last time I tried it.

Luke.

Takes me back. I think that was my first phone - still got the same 07973 phone number.

Snap.

I tried to find a launcher to replicate Windows Phone, but eventually settled on MS Launcher - which I've used ever since.
