Fall detector for elderly parent

My mum's been using a basic 'aid call' pendant for years now, but it doesn't have fall detection, which is becoming more of a risk for her.

She'd probably prefer a pendant to a watch-type device - any recommendations, or things to watch out for?

Also, do they generate many false alarms?
