(I'm aware this should really be done by a solicitor)

Does anyone know where I can find a template, bog-standard "Declaration of Trust" document to simply change the ownership percentages for existing tenants-in-common?

The legal owners are not changing, just their percentages so I believe no TR1 is required, just DoT.

It feels like this should be a standard document but i cannot find one online.

Bit of a rush due to the Budget etc

should be able to find one on some BTL forums - I think back when I was a landlord I paid a fairly small amount (£20?) to be a member of NRLA - they had a bunch of templates around.

No-one ever asked to look at it, so I don't know if it matters? There's certainly no evidence that it was done on xx date

Try chat gpt

I'm getting one done for £250 seems reasonable ? Might be more i guess if not already doing the conveyancing.

You may find that, rightly or wrongly, it has to be signed off by a solicitor anyway.
