P&O Ferries Dover - Calais

Not sure how many ferries in their fleet are the same, but yesterday I did a day trip to France and the ferry (think it was the same in both directions) had alternate fast and rapid chargers against the hull side wall to the car deck on either side. Not sure if you can book them but it was quiet yesterday and I got a rapid either way. While you need a deck hand to swipe a card to start them they are free to use, so I got about 7kWy on the way back and about 15 on the way there. Only downside, not realising I put 29kW in to the car as a top up to let me complete the round trip about 5 minutes outside of Dover. Wish I'd know, would have saved some money thought we still needed the toilet break.
