Anyone else got a pair? Have had mine (Gen 2) for a few days. Aside of the moderately amusing aspect of saying “Hey Meta, take a photo” I haven’t really explored the potential.

Any tips?

I bought some and used them a couple of times during the summer.

Main use... listening to music while I'm playing golf so nobody realises I'm being rude.

I also did a couple of conference calls from the garden in them.

In reality I don't see much of a use for them outside of this, I might try some POV padel at some point.

Seen a few Youtubers using them to make videos for their channels, video quality from them seems pretty decent.

I have a pair of Wayfarers which I bought ahead of a holiday to Thailand and Singapore.

I actually found them to be very useful. In Thailand visiting Phuket Old Town, it was great capturing some basic street photography and video footage of my young lads exploring. Of course I could have whipped out my camera or phone but it's the convenience and the fact it's more low key which makes it helpful.

In Singapore, we did several runs down the luge and up the cable car. Again pov footage was fantastic.

In day to day life I don't use them that much. The technology is amazing but they're still not the most comfortable glasses to wear. That said, I do think they're mega handy if I'm listening to a podcast in the car and then need to run shops (for example). Being able to continue as is and listen via the glasses is great. The quality is poor for music but for podcasts they're just about right.

All in all they are decent and will only continue to evolve and improve.
