No need for any jokes !
Just after some collective wisdom her old Kia Rio Auto is getting a bit tired so she has asked if I can find a replacement for around 10k, pretty simple brief must be automatic, reliable & easy to drive, she is in her 80's but still drives about 4k a year.
I think I may have found a gem & have put a holding deposit on a 2017 Hyundai i20, low mileage full history, with a conventional torque converter transmission, reversing camera and sensors, exciting it certainly isn't but I thought it made sense, taking her to see it next week to make sure she's happy, but in the meantime does anyone have any other suggestions maybe something I haven't thought of?

I am also looking for a small auto for my mil. Budget is a bit lower than yours.
I am surprised at the price premium the autos fetch over similar manual cars, must be the demand from all these mils!

I found that any decent small autos sold really quickly at the cheaper end of the market, I have put it down to the fact a lot of new drivers are learning in autos so they only have an auto only licence when they pass there test
