Posting a tyre
Discussion
I've s tyre for sale on Ebay collection only. It's a 20" and I'd guess it weighs 30+kg.
I looked at Parcelmonkey for a postage price and they are quoting £85!
I see that there are traders on Ebay doing free postage, so who would they be using? I cannot find a courier name on a listing.
TIA

When I send sets of wheels with tyres on I use DPD. You need to split them in to two packages but it s still the cheapest way to do it. They re usually 16 or 17 inch wheels so I assume a single 20 inch tyre will still fit their size requirements.
You need to package them well as their drivers DGAF and just sling them around but less of an issue with a tyre.

Does ebay not offer a postage arrangement ?
I got a wheel/tyre for an Iveco daily the other week, £20 postage to NI from England via DHL. Which I thought very reasonable.
Although obviously some businesses will have deals with couriers, especially if their business relies on such things.
