Blimey, hard to fathom a Government just sodding off like that. Where does that leave everyone who lives there?
Must be more frustrating given it's a solvable problem to some extent, as long as there's enough money and competence. Saudi Arabia is down the road and they have almost no natural fresh water, yet they seem to cope OK.
