Android and One Note Problems

Does anyone successfully use One Note on Android? I'm firmly in the Apple ecosystem but unfortunately work isn't and I've just been given a new S10 Galaxy Tab Lite to use with One Note and I'm finding it an utter pain in the arse. It won't read handwriting when searching and trying to create a to do list from my notes is equally fecking painful. I've searched for endless videos on YouTube but can't seem to find a solution to the probs above. Anyone have any ideas?

Yes, I use it a lot with Android (phone). One of MS's best products IMHO. But I don't use the handwriting function.
