Now I see I can’t post in the news and politics forum for 1 year and have to have a certain post count.

This forum used to be a good place,now it isn’t.

I don’t know what’s going on in the back ground or behind the scenes but it needs sorting out.

The forum software here is dreadful, but that doesn’t change the basics of good security

Needing 1000 posts before you're able to dive in the NP&E hot tub is very silly.
I've been here for a long time but am not likely to ever get to 1000 posts.
Make it 100.
Not sure what the mods are trying to get a feel of using 1000 posts that they won't get from 100.

If you want to log in to your smifffymoto account you will need to use the live.co.uk email address you registered with.

If you don't have access to it anymore then email [e-mail] and ask them to help you change the address on the account.
