See my other thread . We are staying in Malaga Town for a few weeks in Jan/Feb in a an apartment . We have been to Malaga before .

Before we do we want to do one week travelling about a bit looking at different sea side places and a few inland with a hire car .

So we have just settled on Estepona ( basically watching YouTube last night of a few places )

So we are after a recommendation please Hotel, with balcony where you can see the sea and sit out . Nearby parking and nice location.

Obviously doing the booking .com search but as always I appreciate any recommendations from those who have stayed , as that's so valuable.

Thank you

Stayed at the H10 Estepona Palace for a few days just after New Year. Was pretty reasonable, albeit a little quiet.

A bit of a walk into town - about half an hour but if you have a car, shouldn’t be a problem.

Thanks it has some good deals, however TripAdvisor really put me off reading today. Not enough staff, poor communal areas, poor check in ,dirty corridors ,run down. Do you think it's maybe not representative , from your actual experience?

There are some reduced rates available right now but having read the reviews.

Something that Estepona lacks is an abundance of decent hotels. IMHO both the H10 and Kimpinsky are way too far from the centre of town, so you become isolated.

We have recommended https://hotelesteponaplaza.com to friends. We once got talking with a couple who were staying there and they were raving about the personal service they were getting there and looking forward to returning.

It is smack in the centre of the old town with the best restaurants nearby. I think parking has to be in the underground car park along the seafront.

It’s fair to say that you would have far more options in Marbella and Puerto Banus. Friends have stayed at a few there.
