Coil - Aluminium thingy
Discussion
Iam sure that one of you clever chappies can help, so here goes:
I have a 1984 350i which i have fitted a later engine. The newer engine has a black module on the side of the distributor, too which i connect two wires.
The old engine distributor does not have the black module. Also under the coil there is an aluminium electronic box.
What do i do?

Piece of cake.... assuming the coil will work with the module that's on the distributor. Try this:
Terminal that's closest to the end of the dizzy module would normally be white/ black to the coil - terminal.
Other module terminal would be white to the coil +, which would also need 12v when the ignition is switched on.
You can use 1/4" Lucas crimp terminals to the module.
