keen detailer here , cars always kept nice all year round , but so far a wax or sealant user

disappointing whatever i use seems to die off /fail on the bottom half of the car after some winter use

thinking i might try a ceramic i can use myself for next winter , does the whole car remain slick /beading or does that fade away too ?

I've mentioned this before on several threads.

Was recommended Car Plan No1 SuperGloss, glad i was.
Its cheap as chips and is very forgiving of my ham fisted application, basically spray on sparingly and wipe around then finish off with a clean dry cloth just as you would with any household polish or glass cleaner.

Used it on my tractor unit, it lasts several months at a time of several times a week washing with TFR, the paint staying appreciably brighter and smooth to the touch compared to the rest of the similarly aged fleet, 19 months old now just over 200k kms its had either 3 or 4 applications taking around 30 minutes at most.
Washing so much easier because the dirst just doesn't stick anything like normal.

Possibly a year or more one application on a typical car.

https://soft99store.co.uk/products/fusso-coat-f7-l...

not ceramic but very good product , use sparingly , lasts well ,easy to use but don't leave it on too long , they say 10 minutes before wiping off I wait 5 minutes and don't get a problem , If you use it and it has dried too much reapply a little bit and then wipe off

The lower parts of cars get a hammering in winter , but I find the fusso products very good

1 bottle has done 6 cars in family and still plenty left
