A bit Chuffed

Just after buying my new DSLR (Nikon D50) I went along to a local event just to take candid potraits with no other reason than to practice.

On going round snapping away I got talking to a few others guys doing the same and one told me how he prints out contact sheets, laminates them and puts them in the local pub with contact details for people to buy.

Despite feeling a bit of a muppet I did the same and whilst the pub landlady bought a few (I didn't realise but managed to catch a fair chunk of her family that day - I'll get them all next time!)I heard nothing since.

Until today I had a phonce call for 20 photo's!! I'm chuffed as a Badger!

Right then I've sold Photies for money, does that make me a pro, eh, go on say it's true!! :D

Seriously I can now relate to the others on here that have sold their first pictures, it's a great feeling!

Just had to share it, I'll shut up now :boxedin:

Well done !

I sold some pics at uni of our parachute jumps (god knows who the buggers were at the end of the chutes -too far away but an ' oh yes that is you under the yellow and blue one.)
