Manga advice please!
Discussion
With Christmas on the way, I'm trying to find a suitable gift for my 12 year old nephew, who lives in the US.
His mother (my sister) tells me that he is in to Manga and "He has the entire Demon Slayer series. And we are getting him the DanDaDan series for either Chrimbo or Birthday".
I've absolutely zero knowledge of Manga, so have no idea of what these books are about, or if there are any "must have" Manga books suitable for a 12-year-old. Or are there any Manga themed gifts that would complement these books?
I'm hoping a Manga enthusiast can give me a beginners guide so that I don't cock up a christmas by getting something unsuitable (or, worse, totally uncool!).

I'm not sure that DanDaDan is entirely suitable for a 12 year old but anyway...
A good starting point might be to track down ones that have had tv/film adaptations as that's usually a good sign they're popular. Crunchyroll is stuffed full of them. Netflix has plenty too (like DanDaDan, which is an exemplar of a manga adaptation to screen)
Obvious ones would be stuff like One Punch Man, Attack on Titan, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist... there are lots.
Note that a lot of manga collections are really long, as in hundreds of chapters.

For a 12 years old boy. Some straight forward shounen without fan service or harem would be ideal
Like the previous poster, one punch man is a very good call. Alternatively I think My Hero Academia would be good pick too
Attack on titans, Full metal alchemist story is quite complex with some philosophical elements and subject about life and death. May be a bit too much for young boy
